Who we are

It’s My Party has been in business since 2008! We are a women-owned small business. Mother and daughter duo, Alicia and Faith Garrett are the owners and operators. Our roots started in Dyer, but we moved to Schererville in March of 2025. We are now in the heart of the region near the intersection of US 30 and 41.

Alicia took over the business in the spring of 2022, and Faith officially partnered with her in the summer of 2024. Even before taking over ownership, we had been long time customers of It’s My Party and worked there as employees.

We prioritize quality of service at It’s My Party. Every customer and order is treated with top notch customer service and care. You come to us for our expertise. Our team can uplift any event with attention to detail and a critical, creative eye. We take every opportunity possible to let our creativity run wild and design amazing projects. Balloons are so versatile and can suit any style. Elegant, fun, playful, modern, retro, classic, etc. We love when we can have fun with a project!

We are often asked why our name is what it is. Honestly we did not name it, but we kept the familiar name because it has meaning to us and the Region. As mentioned before we have been involved with It’s My Party way before now. We treat events as if it was OUR party. We want your event to be just as you imagined or more, so we think of each event as such. We care, and are constantly looking for new techniques through webinars and conventions with hands on training.
